Círculo Mexicano by Grupo Habita is a hotel located in the downtown of Mexico City. The 19th century building was once home to the celebrated photographer Manuel Álvarez Bravo.
In homage to Bravo, whose works feature throughout the hotel, we developed a campaign to announce the opening of the hotel.
The short film “Centro Del Centro” explores the hotel via a dreamlike montage and performance by choreographer Sarahí Carrillo directed by Andy Butler with cinematography by Omar Zepeda.
A series of still images shot by photographer Fernando Etulain accompanied the film.
This imagery was strategically released across social media and print to create intrigue around the hotel ahead of its soft opening.
